Bahnhof Langenhagen Mitte — Railway Station Reconstruction

Bahnhof Langenhagen Mitte is one of ALVAR's current projects in Germany. Our team is involved in the reconstruction of the railway station, carrying out several different types of construction work.

The scope begins with the demolition of existing elements and preparation of individual areas. We then carry out large-format KS block masonry, insulation works and different types of clinker brickwork.

The project also involves a range of technical details and additional works, including console installation, installation of joint tape in expansion joints and the execution of various special details.

One of the particular challenges of this project is construction-site logistics. Access to some areas is restricted, materials have to be transported over longer distances, and the sequence of work has to be continuously adapted to the current situation on site.

Our team independently operates the necessary construction equipment and organises material handling on site. Loaders, forklifts and other equipment are part of the daily workflow.

What makes this project interesting, however, is not only the scope and variety of the work. Reconstruction of an existing structure requires flexibility: conditions change, access to individual areas varies and additional technical tasks arise during execution.

Projects like this demonstrate the importance of a team that can not only carry out the agreed work, but also understand the situation on site and find practical solutions when required.

The project is still in progress. So this time, we are not showing the final result, but the process itself — the people, the equipment and the work that is gradually shaping the reconstructed station.
